Caldera Hearth Festival
Hearth Festival 2023 was a celebration of creativity, bringing together hundreds of members of our Caldera community for a day filled with hands-on experiential fun, and a visit to the beautiful Caldera Arts Center on the shore of Blue Lake.
We were delighted to welcome home our alumni and ask them to share with you the ways creative, whole-brained thinking, developed here at Caldera, has given them the tools and the confidence to shape their own creative paths.
Your support allows us to make all this available for young learners from Central Oregon, the Portland Metro Region, and many spaces in between.

What is Hearth Festival?
Experience Hands-on Creativity
Hearth Festival is designed to welcome community members of all ages to Caldera’s 119-acre Arts Center for a day-long exploration of the practice of creativity, especially as it manifests within community spaces.
This yearly festival showcases Maker Stations experiences and sponsorship opportunities, featuring to explore creativity through a variety of mediums. Every year we anticipate engagement featuring photography, screen printing, ceramics, paper making, sound-play, dance, and movement…
Artisanal Food and Beverage: Our community is rich with creativity in artisanal food, crafted beverages, and sweet treats! Hearth Festival is an opportunity to experience some of the most creative artisans working in these areas.
Music, Art, Speakers: Experiments with Sound, Spoken Word, and Music Performances: Throughout the daylong event, Hearth Festival will feature performances and presentations of creative expression.
Art Installations
Desde 1996, los jóvenes han experimentado con programas educativos de arte y naturaleza, el cual les ha cambiado la vida de manera extraordinaria. Todo tomando forma en las Cordilleras de las Cascadas en el Centro de Artes de Caldera con estudiantes de la área de Portland y el Centro de Oregon. Caldera es un lugar donde los jóvenes desarrollarán su voz creativa en un ambiente natural.
Caldera también cuenta con programas en escuelas durante todo el año.
