January through March, Caldera’s Artists in Residence (AiR) lead creative workshops for our Central Oregon High School students. From whittling to improv theater, from stop animation to plein air painting, students and AiR alike were inspired. Workshops occurred on Saturdays in various locations including Caldera, Edwin Brown School in Redmond and Smith Rock State Park.
“It is exciting to see our students inspired by new artistic techniques through workshops by Caldera’s Artists in Residence.” said AiR Manager, Elizabeth Quinn. “At the same time, it is fulfilling to see each artist who worked with our students equally inspired and honored to work with out youth.”
Applications for 2014 Artists in Residence are due June 15th.
