Executive Director (Portland)
Caldera seeks a visionary Executive Director to provide strong strategic leadership to Caldera, give voice to Caldera’s mission and equity work, oversee all organizational operations, and build interest in financial, programmatic, and community-based support for the organization.
Requirements of the position include an intimate knowledge of the issues affecting Caldera’s youth, high degree of cultural competence, demonstrated ability to support a diverse environment that embraces equity and inclusion, 10+ years professional experience in organizational leadership and coalition-building, demonstrated administrative and management skills, experience working with a Board, exceptional interpersonal and team-building skills, experience with evaluation tools, and ability to develop and manage budgets and interpret financial and investment reports. A related degree is required, and an advanced degree preferred. Experiences in interdisciplinary exploration and life-long learning are highly valued. Photography Intern (Central Oregon)
The Photography Intern will report to the Communications Director and collaborate with Caldera staff to produce photos for marketing and communication materials and for the purpose of documenting our programs and events. This internship provides a photographer the opportunity to work within an established brand and meet specific client needs. View position description and directions on how to apply.
Graphic Design Intern (Portland)
The Graphic Design Intern will work with Caldera’s Communications Director to meet Caldera’s graphic design needs. Projects will include design work to support our development and communications efforts, Artists in Residence Program, and Youth Program. Design assignments will be a combination of using templates and creating visuals from scratch. Caldera provides computer and software for this position. Position will also provide assistance in organizing and cataloguing photos and have the opportunity to work with Caldera’s design team at Wieden+Kennedy. Photography experience also desired.
