apprentice program
caldera students interested in a career in a creative industry may apply to the apprentice program. the apprentice program is a two-year commitment that begins with a seventeen day arts and leadership retreat. apprentice students work alongside professional artists to advance their artistic skills in real-world settings. they also develop leadership skills while working as junior advocates and artist assistants with younger campers. the summer retreat is followed by year-round arts mentoring, leadership training, portfolio development and connections to universities and careers in creative fields. students are invited to apply during the spring of their sophomore year and receive a stipend upon completing their commitment.
