Middle School

school arts network
every week, a caldera mentor connects with a core group of our students. our work with middle school students begins in their schools – our arts partners. in order to provide the sustained contact necessary for healthy youth development, caldera’s arts partner school program provides a series of interconnected arts education services. school-wide artist residencies and workshops provide performances, exhibitions and workshops at arts partner middle schools attended by caldera youth, effectively extending arts learning to nearly 10,000 students annually. caldera sends professional artists to lead week-long, school-wide residencies and arts workshops related to classroom themes throughout the year. we rely on our arts partner schools to spread the word to young people who may be interested in our unique program. our program is available to arts partners and youth at no cost.
